My name is Rachel, I'm a student, living, working and learning in China.

This blog was primarily made to chronicle my time as a Chinese Flagship student during my capstone year abroad. I have learned so much, and I hope that I can share some of my experiences with other students who are in a similar boat as I was when I began.

The secondary purpose of my blog is to share my stories with friends and family back home. If you are a seasoned expat, don't expect time find any groundbreaking info here, I just wanted to give people who have never been to China before a better idea of where in the world I am.
